How do we treat varicose veins?

Following a thorough examination, patients diagnosed with venous back-flow disorders will be advised to undergo VNUS Closure FAST catheter treatment. A catheter is inserted into the vein, which is closed from within using high-frequency radiowaves (heat). Over time, the body transforms the remaining sections of vein into connective tissue and after one year they disappear entirely. This method replaces the stripping operation, can be conducted under either local or full anaesthetic, and either as an out-patient or in-patient.
